Guide 10

Travel & Leave Requests

This guide is for the Master Terminal — it covers reviewing a crew member's travel or leave request and what happens to the roster when you approve one.

1. Where requests come from

Crew submit a travel or leave request from their own device. From Admin → Travel & Leave Requests, the Master Terminal shows a pending queue by default — toggle "show all statuses" to see the full approved/denied history as well.

2. Approving or denying

Tap a pending request to review its details, then approve or deny it. There's no separate "now update the roster" step — approving a request writes the override straight onto the Roster Planner for that crew member, immediately.

3. Why this replaces a message chain

Every crew member's requests are visible from one screen instead of scattered across messages, calls or a shared note — so there's a single record of what was asked for and when it was approved, not a dispute about who said what.

A denied request stays in the history too — nothing is deleted, so you can always see what was asked and why it didn't go ahead.
